Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use Ciboo, we collect the information you provide directly: your profile details (age, sex, height, weight, activity level, goal), food log entries, weight log entries, and water intake. If you sign in with Google or email, we store your email address and display name.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Calculate your daily calorie and macro targets (TDEE)
• Display your food log, analytics, and progress
• Provide AI-powered food parsing when you log meals
• Sync your data across devices when signed in

3. AI Food Parsing

When you log food, your meal description is sent to a third-party AI service (Anthropic) to estimate nutritional values. We do not send any personal profile information with these requests — only the food description text.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase with row-level security enabled — only you can access your own data. All connections are encrypted via TLS. Guest accounts store data server-side but are not recoverable if you sign out.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data with service providers necessary to operate Ciboo (Supabase for storage, Anthropic for AI parsing, Vercel for hosting).

6. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Guest account data is permanently deleted when you sign out.

7. Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (page views, performance metrics). This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
